Meanwhile, Matt, a culinary connoisseur with an appetite as vast as a football field, adores all things edible, especially if they’re deep-fried or smothered in cheese.

One fateful day, as they were demolishing a mountain of pizza at their local John’s Incredible Pizza, inspiration struck like a bolt of lightning (or perhaps it was just heartburn). “Why don’t we start a club where we celebrate famous Johns’ birthdays with pizza?” Dav exclaimed between slurps of Coke.

“Genius!” Matt replied, already imagining the endless array of toppings they could devour.
